The home sits a short walk from the lifts at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. From the front door it’s about 7–9 minutes to the “Homeowner’s” run, which feeds straight to the Gold Link lift — and from Gold Link, the entire mountain is open to you.
On days you’d rather not walk, the resort runs a private, on-demand shuttle called First Tracks — free, exclusive to the single-family home community, and booked right in the First Tracks app. Waits run two to five minutes, a touch longer at peak, and you can preschedule a pickup time in advance.
Gothic Road cross-country skiing. If groomed track is your thing, follow Gothic Road to where it ends at the Snodgrass Trailhead — you’ll find a beautiful stretch of groomed cross country track waiting there.

Mountain Biking.
Up valley puts you next to a stack of legendary singletrack.
The home’s location up valley sits near some of the best mountain biking on the planet. Many of the trails below are only accessible in summer and fall, once the snow has melted and the high country opens up.

Hiking the Elks.
From mellow meadow loops to all-day passes through the Elks.
Head out for a hike among the high peaks of the Elk Mountains. The walks below range from easy meadow strolls to long, lung-burning crossings — pick by what kind of day you’re after.

Difficulty varies considerably; many are summer / fall only. The Four Pass Loop is an overnight — bring a permit and a friend.
Scenic & Off-Road Drives.
From an easy pavement loop to high passes for the experienced.
The area has an abundance of scenic drives — from on-road experiences to genuinely challenging off-road terrain. Kebler Pass is an easy drive through the largest aspen grove on Earth. Routes are rated 1 to 5; a 5 demands real offroad experience and a high-clearance, capable 4×4.
